    If you are in Hart county it's always a good idea to stop by Hartwell Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shoal Creek; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lake Hartwell Inn & Suites. Hartwell Lake is not far at all from Anderson, and golf can be played at Stone Creek Cove Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Hartwell Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sadlers Creek State Recreation  
   Area is a great local campground, and if you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Hartwell is a brilliant choice.
Summertime highs at Hartwell Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's while Hartwell Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. Hartwell Lake truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. A nice place for whitewater
 
               paddling in close proximity to Hartwell Lake is Rocky River, and lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Hartwell Lake. Hartwell Lake frequently gets a lot of rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is September.
Hartwell Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and camping at Camp Otaki is always a magnificent experience.
