For the duration of the summer months here at Harris Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. You're sure to run into some fine folks from Summerville here, and an interesting thing to check out close to Harris Lake is Harris Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Gulf Creek. All the outdoors exciting things near Harris Lake will keep you coming back over and over. If you're here at Harris Lake and you like golf, you can check out Canyon Ridge Golf Course; as expected Back Valley Creek flows through                  this neighborhood. While you're here at Harris Lake you can take a hike along the Skyuka Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Look Out Mountain Koa Kampground is a splendid site to camp. Harris Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Why not camp at Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga West KOA if you're here at Harris Lake, and get covered with water paddling on Bear Creek.
