A visit to Harps Lake is always a good idea. If you need a location to stay Red Roof Inn Atlanta Southeast is a magnificent choice, and you can stay the night at Shingle Roof Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You get a delightful sight of Panola Mountain from Harps Lake, and Harps Lake is a place with many visitors from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a nice spot right next door to Harps Lake, and you can take a little spree to Ingram Dam if you're here at Harps Lake. Summertime at Harps Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Little Mountain Golf Course. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do near Harps Lake. A pleasant spot close
to Harps Lake is Panola Shoals. There's so much to do here at Harps Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mc Dondugh Koa Kampground is a nice site for that. Harps Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain; September is when it's the driest.
