Harper Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Darien Inland Harbor Camp is a great local campground, and swing by Harris Branch it's a pleasant spot to go to. The high level of precipitation makes Harper Lake a reasonably wet       site; through July this area sees the most rain; November on the other hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Harper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hortense wesleyan Camp is a glorious site for that, and Pilcher Hill can be made out from Harper Lake. Throughout the long summer days at Harper Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Through the wintertime highs are usually                  in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Harper Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. A perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Darien, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Brunswick for sure. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Harper Lake rocks!
