This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hardys Lake; Horn Creek Hiking Trail is a nice local trail. Lakes? Sure, McManus Ponds is in the neighborhood, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bettys Branch is a stream you can stop by while you're here. Savannah River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Hardys Lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Evans Hotel is a good choice.       This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Hardys Lake you'll meet some people from Augusta-Richmond County for sure, and you can stay the night at Heritage Mobile Home Community. At Hardys Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's with temperatures at Hardys Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. If only every place had this                  much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. There are other places here than Hardys Lake, for example Silver Lake, and Forks Campground is a delightful campground nearby.
