Hardys Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. AUGUSTA WEST I-20 is a great choice. While you're here at Hardys Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Augusta-Richmond County, and paddling on Savannah River is so much fun.
Silver Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery
and it's close to Hardys Lake, and hey, Bettys Branch is a great local stream. Best Western Evans Hotel is a fine spot to get some rest, and perfect hiking is available along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Forks Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and float down the rapids of Stevens Creek in a kayak.
