Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Hardys Lake. Paddling on Savannah River is so much fun; a splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn AUGUSTA WEST I-20. The high level of rainfall makes Hardys Lake a relatively wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and November on the other hand is the driest. Some of the water close by flows, like Bettys Branch, unsurprisingly you could also take a                  look at McManus Ponds since you're here; it's not far at all. Stay the night at Heritage Mobile Home Community, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Evans Hotel is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Forks Campground is a nice campground here, and hiking along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail is pleasant fun.
