Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Harps Pond, and Hards Pond Dam is not far at all from Hards Pond. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Hards Pond reach the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures       at Hards Pond dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. An afternoon playing golf at Oxbow Creek Golf Course is always a diversion. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hards Pond has to offer, you can camp at Anthony's Mobile Park. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, McMurrin Pond is in the vicinity; do stop by Mill Creek if you're here at Hards Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Hards Pond a quite wet place; March                  is when you get the most rain here; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Hards Pond. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COLUMBUS-FT BENNING is a great site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Hards Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Pines Camp Ground is a wonderful place for that.
