Hardman Lake is a spot with many visitors from Cornelia, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Panther Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Hardman Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Reservoir 36, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Sky Valley. A lake nearby is Waters Lake. There's so much to do here at Hardman Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Terrora Park Campground is a fine location for that. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hardman Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Hardman Lake through the wintertime regularly descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Scaly Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff; perfect hiking is available along                  the Chattooga Trail. Hardman Lake gets lots of water; through March this area sees the most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Hardman Lake. Stay the night at Panther Creek Campground, and after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Toccoa is a fine spot to spend a night or two. There's whitewater on Tallulah River for all you adrenaline people; why not pop by close by Horse Creek while you're here at Hardman Lake. Go for a hike on the Bartram Trail, and if you need a location to stay Toccoa Days Inn is a great choice. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Hardman Lake.
