During the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Hannom Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 60's, and night lows at Hannom Lake through the winter ordinarily dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Hannom Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Traders Hill Recreation Area is       a tremendous local campground, and after a long day outdoors Star Motel is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Don't leave Hannom Lake without first going for a hike along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail, and why not go to a swamp like Durdin Prairie if you're here at Hannom Lake. A lot of precipitation falls at Hannom Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn is a fine                  choice.
