If you need a place to stay Staybridge Suites Atlanta Perimeter Center-Mt Ve is a great choice, and lots of people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta come here. Hampton Lake Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Hampton Lake; do pay a visit to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area while you're here at Hampton Lake. All the water falling down from       the sky makes Hampton Lake a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most; October is the month with the least moisture. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Hampton Lake has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Buckhead North, and paddling on Marsh Creek is so much fun. Camping at Marietta Campground is always a nice experience, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop                  at Blue Heron Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Bishop Lake is a good lake next to Hampton Lake; soar down the rapids of Sope Creek in a kayak. Camping is available at La Siesta RV Park; obviously March Creek is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hampton Lake with overnight lows in the 60's.
