If you come at the right time of year, Lazer Creek offers some great whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Thomaston. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Yellow Jacket Shoals is close to Hammonds Lake and is a brilliant site, and why not stop at close by Irvin Creek since you're here at Hammonds       Lake. You definitely have to go for Hammonds Lake. Hammonds Lake is not the only site close by, Sunnyside Lake is a close by lake, and Jameson Inn Thomaston is a good spot to get some rest. Hammonds Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Ramsey Mobile Home and RV Park is a perfect local campground, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Thomaston. You could also explore Daniel Lake if you're here at Hammonds Lake; it's close                  by, and Hammonds Dam is an interesting thing to check out.
