Sure, Wildlife Lake is nearby. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hair Lake has to offer, you can camp at James H. Floyd State Park. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Hair Lake. Gamble Spring is a nice local attraction. There's so much to do here at Hair Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Laney is a nice spot for that. The high level of precipitation makes Hair Lake a pretty       wet spot; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the warm months at Hair Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Hair Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. After a long day outdoors Key West                  Inn La Fayette is a great place to spend a night or two, and at Hair Lake you can spot Bald Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Hair Lake is not far at all from Summerville, and there's whitewater on Little River - East Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Lafayette Days Inn is a fine site to get some rest; at Hair Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Hair Lake there are some interesting things to see.
