A lake nearby is Haddon Pond; not far from Hadden Pond you get some good water scenery at Haddon Pond Dam. There are some good whitewater spots on Ogeechee River; Clear Creek is right next door to Hadden Pond and is always a diversion to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Thomson, and a magnificent place to camp here at Hadden Pond is Big Hart Campground.       Be careful coming to Hadden Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. The high level of rain makes Hadden Pond a quite wet spot; through March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. High temperatures at Hadden Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Hadden                  Pond.
