Some of the water nearby flows, like Beaverdam Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Habersham Mills Lake has to offer, you can camp at Early Sundown Campground; there's splendid hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Habersham Mills Lake a wet location; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest       month is October. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Habersham Mills Lake Dam in the vicinity of Habersham Mills Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Mud Creek. So much fun stuff to do at Habersham Mills Lake, so little time. Not far from Habersham Mills Lake, you'll hit upon Demorest Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and a perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Cornelia. Stay the night at Appalachian                  Camper Park, and if you come at the right time of year, Chattahoochee River offers some wonderful whitewater. High temperatures at Habersham Mills Lake through the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Habersham Mills Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
