Moccasin Creek State Park is a tremendous campground nearby, and fine water scenery is available at Habersham Mills Lake Dam next to Habersham Mills Lake. Appalachian Camper Park is a brilliant local campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater       paddling on Mud Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Habersham Mills Lake; Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a tremendous local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Cornelia-Days Inn. At Habersham Mills Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Habersham Mills Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Lakes? Getting to Beaverdam Creek from Habersham Mills Lake is easy; Habersham Mills Lake is not far at all from Cornelia. This lake is so wonderful.
