Greenwood Lake commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and October is the month with the least moisture. During the months of summer at Greenwood Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 60's while Greenwood Lake overnight low temperatures throughout       the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Greenwood Lake, you'll stumble on Cheek Lake which is a scenic lake; it's a nice idea to check out Pine Creek. After a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Thomasville is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and Sugar Mill RV Park is a wonderful campground here. Stay the night at Sugar Mill Plantation RV Park, and you don’t have to go far from Greenwood Lake to see the water at Greenwood                  Lake Dam. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites Conference Center is a delightful choice; this is a popular location for people from Thomasville.
