There's whitewater on Apalachee River for all you adrenaline people. Throughout the summer at Greenway Lake highs are frequently in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's, and night lows at Greenway Lake during the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 30's. Not far from Greenway Lake you get some nice water       scenery at Greenway Lake Dam, and camping at Greenway Lake is great fun, Pine Lake RV Campground is a great local campground. Greenway Lake is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. A great nearby hotel is Days Inn Madison; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Hard Labor Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
