A splendid place for whitewater paddling next to Green Pond is Allen Creek, and the Skyuka Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. After a long day outdoors Days Inn La Fayette is a fine location to spend a night or two, and nearby you come across the Bluff Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Gulf Creek; a nice close by hotel is Days Inn Trenton. Green Pond is a wet spot that

| | gets lots of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Green Pond is not the only spot nearby, Carver Lake is a nearby lake; if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Canyon Ridge Golf Course. Gap, and if you've had enough of Green Pond, Scott Lake is nearby. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Green Pond. An interesting thing to stop by close to Green Pond is Carver Lake Dam, and if you came to camp Sequoyah
Caverns and Campgrounds is a brilliant place to do that. Through the summer at Green Pond highs are regularly in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come
with lows in the 20's to Green Pond. Green Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Laney is a delightful local campground, and if you're dropping by from Summerville, you won't be the only one.
