There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Grandview Lake Dam right next door to Grandview Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clear Creek. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Ellison-Stifel       Lake, and at Grandview Lake you can see Sharptop Mountain. Camping at Talona Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Lake Tamarack is a lake that's near Grandview Lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Champion Creek. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a site to stay Microtel Inn & Suites Jasper is a fine choice; there are some great whitewater spots on Long Swamp                  Creek. For the period of the summer at Grandview Lake highs are generally in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Grandview Lake.
