This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gowen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Okefenokee RV Campground; you're probably into lakes, Charlton County Lake is one of those close by. There's so much to do here at Gowen Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Okefenokee Pastimes is a fine location for that, and near Gowen Lake you stumble on a golf course called Folkston Golf Club. For the duration of the summer at Gowen Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
