Some of the water nearby flows, like Lane Creek, and not far from Gore Lake you get some delightful water scenery at Gore Lake Dam. You'll meet a lot of folks from Cedartown here. Gore Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October. Gore       Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, The Rock Camp Ground is a great place to camp nearby; whitewater paddling is perfect on Mobley Creek. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hiram, Ga is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gore Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cartersville Koa Kampground. Lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Black Lake near                  Gore Lake, and paddling on Tanyard Branch is so much fun. Summertime at Gore Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gore Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
