Camp Vista Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and at Jenkins Pond Dam near Gordys Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Gordys Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, usually in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Gordys       Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Super Value Inn-Richland. Lakes are glorious; Jenkins Pond is a lake that's right next door to Gordys Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gordys Pond a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here while October is generally the driest month.
