Summertime at Gordon Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while Gordon Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet       paddling on Rock Creek, and why not camp at Ringgold Koa Kampground since you're here at Gordon Lake. Paddling on Allen Creek is so much fun; after a long day outdoors Key West Inn La Fayette is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. A large amount of rainfall falls at Gordon Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain; August is when it's the driest. Here at Gordon Lake you'll possibly meet some folks from Summerville; don't leave Gordon Lake                  without first going for a hike along the Bluff Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Gordon Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and good hiking is available along the Skyuka Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Gordon Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Lafayette Golf Course, and do put some time aside to spend at Big Spring if you're here at Gordon Lake. You'll come across a stunning lake called LaFayette City Reservoir near Gordon Lake, and Look Out Mountain Koa Kampground is a perfect local campground.
