are such serene spots, why not go to Eagles Nest Lake in the vicinity of Gooch Lake; nearby you hit upon great spots like Brookshire Gap. Camping is available at Two wheels Only Motorcycle Resort; if you come at the right time of
year, Cooper Creek offers some great whitewater.
Don't forget to take a fine little tour to Big Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Lake is a delightful lake in close proximity to Gooch Lake, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a wonderful choice.
