The high level of precipitation makes Goldberg Pond a rather wet site; throughout March this area sees the most rain while November is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Applewood Golf Course is always a bliss, and dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Waynesboro. Camping is available at Fox Hollow Camp Ground, and why not a little side       journey to Beaver Dam Creek. This is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes. Palmers Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. For the duration of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 90's at Goldberg Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Goldberg Pond during the wintertime mostly fall into the 20's.
