Lake Floree Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and if you're addicted to cool geologic traits try Clay Bluff. Stay the night at Lazy Acres Mobile Park and RV, and there's magnificent hiking along the Indian Trail. At Gold Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 70's.       Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Gold Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. So many exciting things to do here at Gold Lake, too perfect to be true. You could also stop at Lake Floree since you're here at Gold Lake; it's close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gold Lake; Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail is a nice local trail.
