Many people like to go to Goat Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Albany RV Resort is a good campground here; on a perfect day you can explore Fortysecond Street Swamp, a swamp right next door to Goat Pond. Goat Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. If you're dropping by Goat Pond from Albany, you won't be the only one, and Coutland Club Hotel is a fine site to get some rest. If

| | you get bored of Goat Pond, you could also visit nearby Alligator Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn; if you came for an overnight stay Devencrest Travel Park is a tremendous site to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Goat Pond, and the night is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Goat Pond.
