Camping at Tattnall Campground is always a tremendous experience; Tippins Dam is a spot that is close to Glisson Pond. Through the summertime highs here at Glisson Pond reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 60's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Glisson Pond temperatures descend to the 30's. Glisson Pond       sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and November is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Glisson Pond, you'll hit upon Cavender Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and after a long day outdoors Northside Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
