A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Glenn Lake is Mill Creek, and great water scenery is available at Glenn Lake Dam close to Glenn Lake. Don't leave Glenn Lake without first going for a hike along the Songbird Trail, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from Dalton here. Throughout the long summer days at Glenn Lake temperatures are typically in the       80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Glenn Lake are in the 20's. Camping at Glenn Lake is wonderful fun, Lake Conasauga Campground is a wonderful local campground, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. There's fine hiking along the Emery Creek Trail, and Plum Nelly Campground is a good campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Duck Branch is in the neighborhood of Glenn Lake and is always a pleasure to pop by, and playing golf is lots of fun at Spring Lakes Golf Club. Good hiking is available along the Grassy Mountain Tower Trail, and if you need a place to stay Chief Vann Motel is a splendid choice.
