What a nice lake Glenn Lake is. All through the summertime months highs here at Glenn Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Glenn Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Holly Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Glenn Lake, and there's magnificent hiking along the Grassy Mountain Tower Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Glenn Lake; Emery Creek Trail is a good local trail, and a glorious place to camp here at Glenn Lake is Fort Mountain State Park. A perfect nearby hotel is Best Western Fairwinds Inn & Suites, and Glenn Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery. Glenn Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; during the month of March
you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. For you golfers we recommend close by Spring Lakes Golf Club, and Key West Inn Chatsworth is a brilliant place to get some rest.
