While you're here at Glass Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Cornelia; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mossy Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Glass Pond without first going for a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and since you might be       in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Sims Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling next to Glass Pond is Little John Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Glass Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mossy Creek Campground. Glass Pond gets a lot of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is October. There are tremendous sites to discover along                  the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. Lakes are delightful; Dorsey Lake is a lake that's next to Glass Pond. Dean Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. There's so much to do here at Glass Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Union Grove Campground is a splendid site for that. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Glass Pond. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Dorsey Lake Dam close to Glass Pond, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Days Inn Cleveland. Good hiking is available along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. At Glass Pond all through the summer months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's.
