Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are in fact plentiful here at Glade Lake. While you're here at Glade Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Gainesville; a wonderful nearby hotel is Gainesville Days Inn. Stay the night at Mossy Creek Campground, also Glade Lake Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. There's so much to do here at Glade Lake that       you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Mobile Home and Travel is a tremendous location for that; on a great day you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Have a great hiking adventure along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail; whitewater paddling is great on Flat Creek. For the period of the warm months highs here at Glade Lake reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the                  40's while the cold winter nights at Glade Lake are in the 20's. Near Glade Lake you find a golf course called Pine Hill Golf Course, and get dripping wet paddling on Little River - East Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
