Gilbert Lake is a lake worth visiting. Summertime highs at Gilbert Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, usually in the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Gilbert Lake is not far at all from Summerville. So much fun stuff in the vicinity of Gilbert Lake, simply incredible. Key West Inn La Fayette is a splendid place to get some rest, and camping at Gilbert Lake is pleasant fun, Ringgold Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Rock Creek near Gilbert Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn is a great choice. Gilbert Lake ordinarily gets a good
deal of rain; most of the rain falls through March while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Look Out Mountain Koa Kampground since you're here at Gilbert Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bluff Trail.
