If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to George Lake. A lake close by is Hidden Lake; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Blood Mountain Creek. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. George Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Lake Nottely RV Park is a great place to camp nearby; some of the water nearby flows, like Brackett Branch. George

| | Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. During the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at George Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at George Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. out Hicks Gap. Having a wonderful time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. Be careful coming to George Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Do take a look at George Lake Dam if you're here at George Lake;
the Duncan Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is peerless! Don't leave George Lake without first paying a visit to Parham Spring, and the summit of Hanson
Knob can be distinguished from George Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Morton Lake if you're here at George Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express BLAIRSVILLE. Don't forget
to explore Sawmill Cove if you're here at George Lake, and George Lake is right by the Black Mountain Trail. A large amount of precipitation falls at George Lake; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month of the year
is October. Union County Government Butternut Creek Golf Course is a good golf course nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Cooper Creek offers some perfect whitewater. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Coosa Backcountry Trail; if you need a place to stay Best Western Milton Inn is a pleasant choice.
