What a nice lake George Lake is. So many entertaining things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too good to be true. Hiking is a popular thing to do around George Lake; Black Mountain Trail is a great local trail, and Hicks Gap is another splendid site to stop by close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at George Lake. Do stop at Morton Lake in close proximity to George Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and a quick visit to

| | Brackett Branch is beyond doubt a good idea. George Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Cooper Creek, and do schedule some time to pop by Sawmill Cove if you have a chance. temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at George Lake. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do in the Blue Ridge
Mountains. There's some exciting stuff to observe at George Lake Dam right next door to George Lake, and close to George Lake you stumble on a golf course called Union County Government Butternut Creek Golf Course. A glorious spot
for whitewater paddling near George Lake is Blood Mountain Creek, and brilliant hiking is available along the Coosa Backcountry Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Blairsville, Georgia,
and Hanson Knob is a peak you can observe from George Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes George Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls during March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a brilliant
time in the great outdoors, just come on down to George Lake. Lake Nottely RV Park is a pleasant local campground; you can go for a hike on the Duncan Ridge Trail. You clearly must have a thing about the Blue Ridge Mountains.
