This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Bedingfield Lake close to Gay Pond, and the scenery at Gay Pond Dam is scenic. At Gay Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's; the overnight is quite colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Through the wintertime       this place gets highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Gay Pond temperatures plunge to the 30's. This place, Gay Pond, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn AND Suites Dublin is a good spot to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gay Pond a wet site; February is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is October. A quick journey to Hawk                  Pond Branch next to Gay Pond is a wonderful idea, and a glorious place to camp here at Gay Pond is Little Ocmulgee State Park and Lodge.
