It's always fun to stop by Gartrell Lake. If you need a place to stay American Inn & Suite is a pleasant choice. There's so much to do here at Gartrell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Daisy Farms RV Park is a great place for that, and Northside Inn is a nice site to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Gartrell Lake a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is July, and November is the month with the least moisture.

Summertime highs at Gartrell Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Gartrell Lake are in the 30's.
