Gainesville Stone Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Lakeside Mobile Home and Travel is a splendid location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. River Forks Park and Campground is a splendid local campground, and Gainesville Stone Lake is a place with many visitors from Gainesville. Gainesville Stone Lake usually gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily  
   March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture.
You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A tremendous close by hotel is Guesthouse Intl Gainesville; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River - East Fork. Gainesville Stone Lake Dam is not far at all from Gainesville Stone Lake, and Gainesville City Government Chattahoochee Golf Course is a perfect
 
               golf course nearby. Whitewater paddling is great on Flat Creek; if you need a place to stay Best Western Braselton Inn is a tremendous choice.
You could also pop by Reservoir Nine since you're here at Gainesville Stone Lake; it's close by, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a pleasant view of Kennedy Mountain from Gainesville Stone Lake.
