There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Gainesville Stone Lake. A fine site for whitewater paddling right next door to Gainesville Stone Lake is Flat Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by McEver Lake. Gainesville Stone Lake is a quite wet place  
   mostly with lots of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. You can run the rapids of Little River - East Fork in the vicinity of Gainesville Stone Lake. Lakes? Sure, Reservoir Seven is nearby.
High temperatures at Gainesville Stone Lake during the summer months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 40's with winter

We stayed at this campground in October 2005. It is nice camp ground and very reasonable with the cost. Grounds are well keep and it is neat and orderly. I intend to stay there this coming october. I would recommend it....
