    Gainesville Stone Lake is a lake worth visiting. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Flat Creek, and if you need a spot to stay Guesthouse Intl Gainesville is a great choice. Do go to McEver Lake close to Gainesville Stone Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and Gainesville Stone Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at River Forks Park and Campground is always a tremendous experience, and there's whitewater  
   on Little River - East Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
From Gainesville Stone Lake you obtain a wonderful vista of Kennedy Mountain; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Braselton Inn. Gainesville Stone Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

               out; golf can be played at Gainesville City Government Chattahoochee Golf Course. At Gainesville Stone Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. We stayed at this campground in October 2005. It is nice camp ground and very reasonable with the cost. Grounds are well keep and it is neat and orderly. I intend to stay there this coming october. I would recommend it....
