| | to camp. Summertime highs at Gaines Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while Gaines Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.

Lake Capri Dam; camping at Gaines Lake is glorious fun, Salem Campground is a glorious local campground.
Be careful coming to Gaines Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Mystery Valley Golf Club is a wonderful golf course
close by, and Bond Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit. Getting to Hammock Creek from Gaines Lake is easy, and a great nearby hotel is Jameson Inn Conyers.
