Camping at Hazel Creek RV Park is always a pleasant experience, and Baldwin Mountain Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest. At Gailey Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gailey Pond are in the 20's.       This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Nancy Town Creek is a pretty stream that is worth visiting; the summit of Red Root Mountain can be seen from Gailey Pond. Soar down the rapids of Hudson River in a kayak, and Gailey Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Russell Campground is a nice local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Skyland Motel; at Gailey Pond you always meet someone from Cornelia.                  Why not check out Middle Fork Broad River Structure Six Dam if you're here, and if you yearn for a little side visit, try Wofford Shoals. Gailey Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
