Gaeta Lake is a wet location that gets lots of rain; through March this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. If you need a site to stay Blue Ridge - Days Inn is a perfect choice, and Gaeta Lake Dam has great water scenery. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Gaeta Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime       are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Gaeta Lake sink into the 20's. So many entertaining things to do at Gaeta Lake, so little time. Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine location to get some rest, and Deep Gap is nearby, and is a great place. Just can't get enough of Gaeta Lake. A lake close by is Blue Ridge Lake, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Tearbritches Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  There is a good hiking trail close to Gaeta Lake called the Benton McKaye Trail, and float down the rapids of Cartecay River in a kayak. You could also stop by Laurel Creek Lake if you're here at Gaeta Lake; it's close by, and camping is available at Blue Ridge Campground. Get covered with water paddling on Toccoa River; if you're here you can take a hike along the Benton Mackaye Trail. Why not camp at Blue Ridge Mineral Spg Rv Park since you're here at Gaeta Lake, and naturally Charlie Creek flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful.
