Just can't get enough of Gaeta Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Blue Ridge Mineral Spg Rv Park; there are glorious spots to discover along the Tearbritches Trail. Going for a hike on the Benton Mackaye Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and do stop at Blue Ridge Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. Throughout the       warmest time of the year at Gaeta Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Gaeta Lake. If you need a location to stay Days Inn/ Blue Ridge is a pleasant choice, and from Gaeta Lake you get a good view of Davenport Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Toccoa River offers some great                  whitewater, and nearby you hit upon Deep Gap which is a good spot to stop at. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Cartecay River, and a good close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites Blue Ridge. Take a side tour to Charlie Creek, and Gaeta Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Blue Ridge Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. Gaeta Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is commonly the driest month. But wait, there's more to do near Gaeta Lake.
