Boyette Pond Dam is a site that is close to Futchs Pond, and lots of people from Valdosta come here. Summertime at Futchs Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures       at Futchs Pond descend into the 30's. This place, Futchs Pond, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Camp Tygart is a good local campground. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Adel is a good site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Daniels Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Futchs Pond a wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.                  This lake is so wonderful.
