Futchs Pond is a reasonably wet place typically with a good deal of rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October. Stay the night at River Park Mobile Home Park, and lots of people from Valdosta come here. Boyette Pond Dam is a pretty site close to Futchs Pond; hey, Bear Creek is a great local stream. Boyette Pond is a nice lake close to Futchs       Pond, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Hahira is a perfect place to spend a night or two. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Futchs Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Shady Oaks Campground is a brilliant campground here; Stage Coach Motel is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Throughout the warm months highs here at Futchs Pond get into the 90's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's.
