Fredrick Lake is right by the Brookshire Creek Trail, and near Fredrick Lake you hit upon a golf course called Woodmont Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the days of summer at Fredrick Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Fredrick Lake tend to be in the 20's.       Stay the night at Twin Lakes Park, and a lake nearby is Almond Lake. Having a wonderful time at Fredrick Lake is trouble-free. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Fredrick Lake has to offer, you can camp at Marietta Campground, and paddling on Marsh Creek is so much fun. A brilliant nearby hotel is Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta-Windward, and a tour to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is worthwhile. All the water falling                  down from the sky makes Fredrick Lake a wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Big Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by; Fredrick Lake is not far at all from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. This lake is so wonderful.
