This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a location to stay Jameson Inn Thomaston is a glorious choice, and camping at Warm Springs Campground is always a pleasant experience. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Franklins Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the       60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Franklins Pond drop into the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Manchester Warm Spring; Franklins Pond Dam is a wonderful place, undeniably worth stopping at. While you're here at Franklins Pond, you could also have a look at scenic Daniel Lake, and what would a spot like Franklins Pond be without attention-grabbing nearby highlights                  like Spewrell Bluff. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Flint River for all you adrenaline people; the nice people of Thomaston like to hang out close by. Woodland Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and getting to Mud Creek from Franklins Pond is uncomplicated.
