Enjoy a round of golf at Hickory Ridge Golf Club not far from Franklin Lake. There's so much to do here at Franklin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ramsey Mobile Home and RV Park is a pleasant place for that. While you're here at Franklin Lake, you could also stop at charming Potato Creek Watershed Lake Number Six, and don't leave Franklin Lake without first paying a visit to Willingham Spring. This lake is so       wonderful. One of the governing highlights of the surroundings of Franklin Lake is Bull Trail Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Thomaston-Days Inn. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Flint River, and folks from Thomaston love to come here. So much enjoyable stuff next to Franklin Lake, absolutely unbelievable. Get wet paddling on Potato Creek, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Thomaston is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. The                  scenery at Franklin Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Franklin Lake is beautiful, and you can stay the night at Heart of Georgia RV Park. Summertime at Franklin Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's with temperatures at Franklin Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
