Near Frank Lake you locate the Whitly Gap Trail which is a good hiking trail; there are other spots here than Frank Lake, for example Lower Taylor Lake. Cornelia-Days Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest, and you don’t have to go far from Frank Lake to distinguish the water at Frank Lake Dam. This spot, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing       stuff. The Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Frank Lake. Lakes? Sure, Allen Lake is in the vicinity. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a fine adventure; Frank Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Creek Grove Nudist is a good local campground. Through the warmest time of the year at Frank Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter comes with                  highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Frank Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Since you're here at Frank Lake why not explore Buck Shoals, and Chattahoochee River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Frank Lake. At Frank Lake you always meet someone from Cornelia; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mud Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Frank Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Cornelia is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and camping at Serendipity Park Nudist Resort is always a wonderful experience. The high level of precipitation makes Frank Lake a rather wet location; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. So much exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time.
