Fountain Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Wingate's Lodge Restaurant Marina and RV Park is a magnificent local campground, and if you need a site to stay Bainbridge Super 8 Motel is a good choice. Fountain Pond is a wet location that gets lots of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Bainbridge Days Inn is a good place to get some rest; you       need to visit Big Horseshoe Bend since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fountain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Place To Be RV Park is a delightful place for that, and Ballou Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Swamps like Fowlstown Swamp close to Fountain Pond make for great spots to go to; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Bainbridge here. All through the summer                  here at Fountain Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 60's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fountain Pond sink into the 30's. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
