If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MILLEDGEVILLE is a great choice, and Little River Park is a great local campground. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Fountain Lake has it all. Why not stop at Fountain Lake Dam while you're here, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Twin Bridges       Trail. Fountain Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with a lot of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. Through the months of summer here at Fountain Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Fountain Lake. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not pop by Willoughby Lake                  in the vicinity of Fountain Lake, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Milledgeville is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
