This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Scottish Inns Milledgeville is a brilliant site to get some rest; camping is available at Little River Park. People from Milledgeville love to come to Fountain Lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Little River. Fountain Lake gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls throughout       March, and October on the other hand is the driest. McClure Lake is a magnificent lake near Fountain Lake, and the Twin Bridges Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. And that's not all you can do here at Fountain Lake.
