Foundation Lake really is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flat Shoals River; Mulberry Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Foundation Lake that you need to camp here                  for a while, Pine Mountain Family Campground is a tremendous location for that. Lakes are great; Upper Falls Creek Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Foundation Lake. Foundation Lake mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October.
