Foster Lake is a nice lake to visit. There are some great whitewater spots on Snake River, and there are other locations here than Foster Lake, for example Lake Violet. High temperatures at Foster Lake during the summertime are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Foster Lake are in the 30's. The scenery at Foster Lake Dam close to Foster Lake is charming,
