Forsyth Lake gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is the month with the least moisture. A great place to camp here at Forsyth Lake is Shady Grove Campground; a lake nearby is Lower Coots Lake. Forsyth Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, The Rock Camp Ground is a great local campground, and Signal Mountain is a peak you can spot from Forsyth       Lake. Forsyth Lake is not the only place close by, Upper Coots Lake is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Rockmart Day Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful people of Cedartown like to hang out close by, and Lower Coots Lake Dam is a picturesque place. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be.
