Throughout the summertime months at Forest Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Forest Lake drop into the 20's. Camping at Clay Hill Campground is always a good experience, and get drenched paddling on Stevens Creek. Eubank Lake is a great lake       in close proximity to Forest Lake; if you need a place to stay Thomson-Days Inn is a pleasant choice. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Forest Lake. There are other places here than Forest Lake, for example Hickory Lake, and Knights Inn Thomson is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A fine spot to camp here at Forest Lake is Mistletoe State Park, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Turkey                  Creek Hiking Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Forest Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls during January, and the driest month is September.
