In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stevens Creek. There's so much to do here at Forest Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hesters Ferry Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Dozier       Branch is a delightful stream that is worth a visit, and there's pleasant hiking along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Forest Lake. For the period of the summertime months at Forest Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Forest Lake tend to be in the 20's.
