This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Ford Lake, you could also visit striking Steep Bank Lake, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Tifton is a fine place to spend a night or two. Ford Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; October on the other hand is the driest.       This location is so good, just check out all the amusing stuff to do close to Ford Lake. Take a little visit to Big Creek while you're here at Ford Lake. A wonderful location to camp here at Ford Lake is Riverbend Bluegrass, and there's always Tifton Fishing Club Lake Dam to explore near Ford Lake. Smith Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Tifton. During the warm months, highs generally are in the 90's                  at Ford Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's.
